HD networking with an SD memory card

Netorking is an essential part of the DMPBD35. The included memory card slot allows for easy transferring of images from an HD camcorder or digital still camera via an SD memory card. You can simply insert the SD card into the DMPBD35 to view images on a large screen HD flat panel television with AVCHD format video images or JPEG stills in full 1920 x 1080 resolution.

One-touch control from your TV's remote

With the DMPBD35's VIERA Link&trade HDAVI control, you can control your Blu-ray Disc player and all your home theater components with your TV's remote. Simply press the VIERA Link button and select "BD Player" on the menu screen; the DMPBD35's menu will be displayed and you can begin playback.

BD-Live Blu-ray player: The Panasonic DMP-BD35K works with Blu-ray BD-Live discs, or Profile 2.0. BD-Live, which involves an internet connection to your player, allows you to download updated content, such as trailers and ringtones for your cell phone. In some cases, it lets you play special games and watch exclusive commentaries.

Upconverts standard DVDs: When watching a standard DVD in the DMP-BD35K, the player “upconverts” the resolution to 1080p, which is on par with high definition. You’ll be able to experience your old DVD collection in ways you were never able to before.

Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD: Dolby True HD and DTS-HD, when connected to a 7.1 home theater system, transmit a specific channel of audio to a respective speaker: the end result is that you get high-definition sound to complement your high-def viewing experience.
