The HPS4233 includes HDMI/DVI-compatible HDMI2 connections which allow for the transmission of both video and audio digital signals through a single cable for higher quality and fewer wires. You can connect your DVD and DTV sources with two smart component video (Y/Pb/Pr) inputs that accept 480i/480p/720p/1080i signals. You also get S-Video and composite video inputs, along with optical and coaxial digital audio outputs for transferring high-quality sound. What's more, the HPS4233 can also function as a PC monitor thanks to PC inputs.

To reduce the possibility of screen burn, the HPS4233 is equipped with their Auto Pixel Shift screen burn-prevention technology. This enables you to set picture movement up/down (Vertical Line) and side to side (Horizontal Dot). Plus you can program the amount of time between pixel movement. If screen burn has occurred--such as, your favorite child left their video game on pause for three weeks straight--you can select a white screen or signal pattern (rolling screen) to help remove screen burn artifacts.
